Lifting Equipment
In the Early 1950s, lifting equipment was not readily available. The company purchased six Bren gun carriers from the army for motors and parts, and a four wheel drive quad truck was converted into a forklift.
Equipment in the 1950s and 60s included Ross and Hyster straddles and Girlinger and Bull Moose forklift trucks. By 1969, the company had 22 forklifts and three giant logloaders.
In 1982, two container hoists were purchased, one capable of lifting 45,000 pounds. At the time, the company owned forlifts, front end loaders, clamp lifts, front end loaders, clamp lifts and pressure grab loaders.
