Port Land Ownership

To own land near the port, companies needed to be involved in port services. Mr Godfrey was told to step out the amount of land required, which was pegged and surveyed. The following day he decided the company needed more land, so he shifted the pegs. Mr Godfrey says that, thanks to wonderful assistance from the Lands and Survey Department, the land deal was settled and by deferred payment license.
