NZL Group Does What It Can To Make New Zealand Roads Safer

NZL Group have recently introduced a road safety and fuel efficient training programme for all its drivers.

Laurie Royal, NZL Group Driver Training manager is a registered trainer for SAFED NZ, which was introduced in the UK in 2003.

With a focus on teaching the drivers the correct ways to drive each truck, fuel efficiency which includes speed, is recorded.  This has a direct improvement towards road safety.  Every driver will see an immediate improvement in their statistics and will result in safer driving around New Zealand

When your working day is spent driving on New Zealand roads there are many hazards that need to be addressed, monitored and eliminated.  Contributing factors such as fatigue and stress will be eliminated with SAFED NZ training.

Freight is expected to double by 2040 and transport companies, like NZL Group have a responsibility towards making our roads safer.  Upskilling drivers by giving them the right techniques and tools will make our roads safer for everyone.
