Hamilton 400 V8 Supercar Streetrace

NZL Group can announce we will be a key partner in the Hamilton 400 V8 Supercar Streetrace in 2009.

Our job will be to transport the race cars and the associated tool boxes from the Auckland International Airport to Hamilton and back again.

We will also be what's called a "Platform Sponsor". This will allow us to really get our NZL brand out there, to show our support for the Waikato Region and to show our support for such a huge, global, successful event here in New Zealand. This event last year generated approximately $20.3 million of new money into this region in the first year - GO HAMILTON!

As you are aware, the event is held in Hamilton which is now hailed as the motor sport capital of NZ, joining other incredibly successful street races in Adelaide and the Gold Coast.

Did you know for the 2009 season there is going to be an estimated 980 MILLION households around the world set to be exposed to the Hamilton 400? This event has proved it is not what was stereo typed as a petrol head event but has mass, global audience appeal. 87% of people going to the event agreed the V8 Supercar makes a great family day out and perfectly timed within the April/May school holidays.

And for all us tree huggers out there worried about the impact on the environment for the first year ever Big Pond and V8 Supercars Australia will plant approximately 15,000 native trees around Australia and NZ to offset the carbon emissions - RESULT! This goes a long way around education about climate change.
