The key advantages with using a customs bonded warehousing facility is they can assist the importer with the collection of their goods off the port saving them time and money. Some importers are not aware of the importance of collecting imported containers or goods on arrival avoiding port demurrage costs and potential shipping line container detention costs. These costs are applied where removal of import containers or cargo and dehiring of equipment to local container depots is not undertaken within allowable timeframes. Once collected your container and contents or goods “under bond” can then be stored in customs bonded warehouses while it awaits unpacking instructions, Customs inspection if required and Customs/MAF clearances .

This little beauty arrived in the NZL Group Tauranga yard direct from Arizona, via Las Vegas and Los Angeles proudly touching down on our shores in Tauranga in January 2011. So she could fit inside a 40 foot shipping container the side panels had to be removed but this only meant she could show off her fine interior. She is in remarkable condition and if you are lucky you may spot her around town one day!
